Post-work questions

Thank you for your participation in our weekend of learning about Amish culture!  I hope it was a positive and enriching experience.  Please aim for 3-5 sentences for each of the following reflection questions: What connections do you see between any of the sources we used this weekend and your experience on one of the trips outside the classroom? What did you expect this course to be like?  How was the reality similar to or different from your expectations? How have your opinions or thoughts about the Amish in Lancaster changed?  How did you benefit from this experience? What is one thing you would change about your experience this weekend, if you could? What advice do you have for future participants in this course? When you return to your normal daily life here or talk with friends and family at home, what will you say when others ask you who the Amish are?

Saturday's reflection questions

Please answer the following questions as a post on your blog.  Remember to aim for 3-5 sentences for each question. Which moment from today do you think you will particularly remember?  Why? What sounds, smells, or sights come to mind when you think of today's trips? What surprised you about today's experiences? Why? When did you feel most comfortable?  When did you feel most uncomfortable? What do you imagine tomorrow's Amish Mennonite church service will be like?   What questions do you have?

Friday's homework assignment

Your homework for tonight is to answer the following questions as a post on your blog (remember to log in at blogger.com ).  Please aim for 5-7 sentences per question.
